TUNESHIP

Tuneship features the delightful twin fiddling of Cedar Stanistreet and Karina Wilson, backed by the rocking guitar groove of Larry Unger. Karina and Cedar are both classically trained and  combine influences from Irish, Scandinavian, Quebecois, old-time, jazz, and other styles. Larry  is a perennial favorite on the dance circuit and also a prolific composer of dance tunes, many of which have entered the standard repertoire as instant classics. A member of numerous bands, he tours actively with fiddler Eden MacAdam-Somer as the duo Notorious. Karina has also toured with Larry, playing a variety of dance weekends. Cedar is a member of the bands Nor’easter and Cardinal Direction, among others.
