Peg has been in Maine most of her life, and has deep family roots in Belfast. She and her husband, Jim, live in Camden. A retired nurse, Peg has been playing music since her teenage years. She performed folk tunes with her high school band at various functions, including gigs with the USO! These days, Peg plays concertina and guitar with the Belfast Bay Fiddlers, Sea Strings Orchestra, and the BFS All Comers Band. Watching the dancers swirl and swing around the dance floor makes Peg’s heart sing, while she gets to pound out the beat. Experiencing firsthand the love of community that Flying Shoes offers to everyone is what first attracted Peg to BFS. She is excited to take her enthusiasm to the next level by serving on the Board of Directors.
