“Magical!” was the word on the Armistice Footbridge. Inspiring tunes from Sassafras Stomp, enthusiastic dancers and spectators, glorious light on the water, and dances ranging from classic chestnuts like The Lady of the Lake to wacky ones like The Flat Tire. Wooooh!
Several pro photographers were on the scene, including one from DownEast (documenting the scene for the Belfast Area Chamber of Commerce). To share a bit of the mood in the near term, Chrissy hastily captured these 3 images:
Here’s a video clip of the second dance of the evening (thanks to the Belfast Area Chamber of Commerce for posting!)
See you at the final Dancing in the Park event Sept 7 at City Point RR Station, which features cool add-on activities, thanks to our DiP partners*. Hike to the dance! Pedal railcycles! Ride the rails behind a motorcar! Picnic along the Passy before or after! … Oh yes, and DANCE in the PARK!
