Willy Clemetson

Willy Clemetson has been going to the Belfast dances since they first began. He started with the community dance. As he got older and more experienced, he progressed to the contras. Willy has been to several other dances including the Whitefield dance and NEFFA. He loves teaching beginners how to contradance by dancing with them and instructing them gently until they start to get into the swing of things. He is constantly recommending the BFS dance to new people, hoping they’ll come and experience it for themselves. Willy’s other musical experiences include playing the fiddle and often joining the BFS All-Comers Band. He has been to a number of music camps, such as Village Harmony and Maine Fiddle camp, and is an avid Frisbee player.
